Parent / Camper Information
Camp preparation
- Due to the outdoor adventure activities offered, campers must have completed a minimum of one term of Grade 1 before they will be accepted at this vacation care program. (Grade 1 not Prep)
- If you wish to confirm your booking please phone or email the camp, booking confirmation is not posted
- Credit cards, cash, cheques, EFTPOS and BPAY are accepted for payment
- Please advise the camp coordinator of any special needs or requirements for your child prior to camp and include a behavior management plan if necessary so camp leaders can familiarise themselves with your child's needs
- If your child brings money to camp, please ensure it's in a wallet with your child’s name clearly marked. $15.00 maximum - coins recommended. (Soft drink vending machine only - $2.50 per bottle)

Medication
- Prescription medication and/or over the counter medication must be handed to camp coordinator on arrival at camp
- All medication must be in the original medication container with your child’s name and correct dosage - this includes over the counter medication (e.g. Paracetamol)
- Please include a medical practitioner’s letter or pharmacist’s printed instructions for prescribed medication
- All medication must be supplied by the parent/guardian - this includes over the counter medication (e.g. Paracetamol)
During camp
- Campers need to be signed in on arrival and signed out on departure from camp
- The camp needs written permission to allow someone different to collect your child to the person who droped off your child
- All campers must be collected by 6.00pm or late fees will apply
- Please advise the camp of any changes to your plans e.g. non attendance
- If you wish to contact your child at camp, please call between 6.00 pm and 6.30pm
- In the case of unacceptable behavior campers will be sent home without reimbursement.
- Fees will still be charged if your child elects to go home at night after attending camp through the day
- Lost property will be held for one month after the end of the camp.
- The YMCA accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen goods.
- Our staffing services are in accordance with regulation requirements, a ratio of 1 adult to 15 campers

To receive weekly Child Care Benefit or end of year Child Care Benefit:
- You need to contact Centrelink and register.
- You need to supply us with your date of birth, your family CRN and your child/children’s CRN.
- You need to advise us if you have another child in care along with their name, date of birth, and CRN or you will be charged for a single child fee.
