Keep watching this site for news of a fantastic
new hall and amenities being constructed on the Environmental Centre
just across the road from Camp Warrawee.
The hall is being constructed with the aim of outdoor
camping and day camps for schools and community groups.
There will be indoor climbing/ bouldering and new
abseiling facilities featured into this hall.
December 2005
A
recent Gambling Community Benefit Fund
has
enabled the camp to continue to meet the
highest
safety standards
with
the addition of softfall for our low rope courses.
January 2005
A recent
Gambling Community Benefit Fund
has
enabled the camp to meet the
highest
safety standards
with
the reroofing of two (2) of our older cabins.
These
cabins had asbestos roofing removed and replaced with new colourbond
roofing.
June 2005
The
construction of three (3) new Training/First Aid rooms has now been
completed, thanks to the generous support of Queensland Government
Sport and Recreation Department.
July 2004
Camp Warrawee
is now connected
to Sewerage
replacing
the old Septic system.
The construction of the sewerage
service has been due to the generous support of the Jupiters Casino
Community Benefit Fund
